Asia

Asia and the pacific region make about a third of the world`s land. Asia stretches from the pacific to Europe and from the equator to the Arctic here a lot of things happen. Volcanoes make the islands  surrounding Asia in the Indian ocean . In Asia the world`s tallest mountains were formed by the tech-tonic plates. These things happen in Southwest Asia, Central Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and the pacific.

East Asia

East Asia has China, Mongolia,  North and South Korea, and Japan. East Asia has the continent`s biggest river; the Yangzi. The Yangzi flows 3,900 miles east through Southern China and to East China. Japan`s region Shinto is mixed with Buddhism that is also practiced in North Korea, Mongolia, and Vietnam.

  1. Dear Rafy,
Wow! Think about that, 1/3 of the Earth’s land! That is crazy! I like how you mentioned the tectonic plates since we were just talking about that in Science. Did you know that Samantha is Vietnamese? Now you know where her ancestors are from and can find it on the map! You should comment on her blog and tell her that you found Vietnam on the map, she would enjoy hearing from you!

  2. Rafy,

Awesome information about Asia! I don’t think I knew how many different countries made up the continent. That is great map that you included with your post. It supports your information very well.
